Nonprofit organizations play an important role in the community when they focus on pertinent issues affecting people’s way of life. However, their reach is often challenged by the lack of enough resources to conduct their outreach programs that focus on desolate parts of the modern world. From this realization, project managers in nonprofit organizations rely heavily on the art of persuasion to convince investors and other stakeholders in the community about the various roles they can play to accomplish their desired goals and objectives.
When working in a team setting, it is easier to achieve expected results because of the complimentary roles that are undertaken by different individuals. In this regard, community projects require multiple collaborations to facilitate a smooth interaction between stakeholders and other individuals in their surroundings. My experience working for a nonprofit organization enabled me to witness the different approaches that people can use to convince individuals about the importance of participating in the community projects. I also witnessed the impact of ethos, pathos, and logos in our oral and written communication. Hence, the art of persuasion plays an important role in influencing people’s outcomes.
Nonprofit organizations depend on well-wishers to accomplish their desired goals and objectives in the modern world. Regardless of their ability to pursue different outcomes, individuals are often encouraged to give back using rhetorical analysis strategies such as ethos, logos, and pathos. From this observation, many people are keen to observe the different elements that influence the nature of outcomes in their surroundings. Besides, the art of persuasion plays an important role in convincing individuals to explore various options such as volunteering and contribute towards the growth and development of the community.
