After participating in the brief exercise, I realized that my social class has a significant impact on my credit score, which may have an adverse impact on my future. If I have a poor credit score, it is impossible to secure a job, switch to a different mobile service provider, or even settle in a new neighborhood. From this exercise, I have realized that credit score advances social stratification and hinders individuals from pursuing their dreams in the modern world. The culture of poverty is largely influenced by the economic restructuring that is advanced by the credit score approach, which has a significant impact on the future of individuals. Hence, it is impossible for people from low-income settlement areas to achieve occupational prestige because of the numerous hindrances that interfere with their ability to secure the future.
