The study of Computer networks and cyber security is currently emerging as a major field of information technology which I would love to pursue. I am currently an associate in business management and a licensed nurse. I am a single parent of a three year old and the primary caregiver to my mother. I have always wanted to have a career in information technology for as long as I can remember. At my work place, I am always admiring people working in the IT department and I often find myself volunteering to work in this department just to learn a few things. To achieve my goals, I must to pursue a college education in information technology and am so excited about your scholarship because when granted the opportunity, I will be able to realize my dream of working in an IT field.
I am very passionate about technology and from a young age I would always find myself with gadgets that were supported by technology trying to understand how they operate. Unfortunately after high school, pressure and interference from external sources led me to pursue other career goals but that has made my life miserable in that I am not happy or excited about my work. My family is not able to raise my school fees and seeing that I have a child to take care of and a mother, I am unable to raise my fees. I hope my passion and skills will enable me get this scholarship so I can pursue my dream career.
Like your organization, I hope to assist other people in future to realize their dreams through education. To follow my passion and achieve my dreams, I need all the help that I can be afforded and I hope that you award me this scholarship.
