Many large cities across the globe have been affected by air pollution than the developing nations. Some of the significant effects of air pollution are health-related. Many people face a wide range of health effects that have both short and long-term effects. Some of the short-term effects include pneumonia or bronchitis. Others can include dizziness, nausea, and headaches (Carrington, 2018). The long-term effects of air pollution on humans include lung cancer, severe respiratory diseases, and even heart diseases. People may react differently to air pollution, were the younger and older who have a weaker immune system can be more sensitive to the pollution. Air pollution also interferes with the ecosystem, contaminating the surface of water and soil bodies. This can result in the death of crops and trees and reduce yield.
