According to the Section 4.3 Introducing the Open Systems Interconnection Model in the UCertify reading, as an IT auditor you are expected to have a fundamental understanding the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model. Discuss how an auditor might use this knowledge to identify weaknesses in policies, missing standards, and problems in procedures. In your opinion, how important do you think it is for an auditor have a fundamental understanding of the OSI model? Or do you think the OSI model has no impact or little significance on the success of an IT audit? Explain why or why not.
